R&B Singer in the lab with Mac Miller, Statik Selektah, Nikki Valentine and Swizz Beatz
NEW YORK, NY (Feb. 8, 2012) – Within the last three years breakout artist, Josh Xantus has managed to lock in musical magic with Jadakiss, Waka Flocka, Ace Hood, Red Café, Styles P, Busta Rhymes, AZ, and Ghostface Killah. After paying his dues, soaring to radio and billboard charts, he’s back! Set to release his latest effort “Everybody Hates Josh X” mixtape in March; the title of the mixtape originated from a Twitter beef Xantus experienced. “Honestly, my last project came from the purest of my heart, so to receive hate on any level just wasn’t easy for me to comprehend. I was a younger artist and inexperienced. Today, I understand the beauty in this beast we call the industry. It’s my turn to show and prove that I’m up for the challenge,” says Josh Xantus. Diligently in the lab with the likes of Swizz Beatz, Statik Selektah, Nikki Valentine and Mac Miller the R&B maverick will service his overall rebuttal via the new mixtape early this Spring.
In 2010 Josh Xantus released his single “I Don’t Care” from his yet-to-be released debut album, “Can I Live”. The single was featured on BET’s 106&Park, MTV and more. He swept radio stations nationwide from Brian McKnight’s nationally syndicated radio show WBLS, Hot97 and Power 105 to KBLX. Multiple performances in the NYC scene helped escalate his awareness. Considered a musical G, the Julliard School of Music graduate and classically trained crooner has captivated audiences since the tender age of six years old. Audiences first became acquainted with the M USA/EMI artist via his Jadakiss-assisted record, “Let’s Ride” which was featured in MTV U’s top ten countdown.
This new project, “Everybody Hates Josh X” will take music lovers nationwide through many romantic episodic adventures with the breathless vocals of Josh Xantus.
