Jessie James' Self Titled Debut Hits #1 on iTunes Pop Chart + Cazmo Virtual Concert!

With her debut album and "Wanted" burning up the fast lane, Jessie's second single "I Look So Good (Without You)" is set to impact at Top 40 radio on August 24th and Hot AC on September 14th. "Wanted" has sold more than 300,000 copies since its release in May, and the sultry video – added at MTV, MTV Hits, Myspace, AOL, Yahoo! and Music Choice. MTV continued its support by naming James a "Discover and Download" artist. After Myspace featured the video in April and it was named AOL's Video Of The Day in May, iTunes picked up "Wanted" as Video Of The Week in June, and over 200,000 fans downloaded the clip. The premiere date for the "I Look So Good (Without You)" video will be announced in the days and weeks ahead.
Now comes news that Jessie has teamed with FOX-TV's cable network SPEED™ as the face for their upcoming "SPEED™ Dream Ride" programming and promotional event, scheduled to run from Thanksgiving Day through New Year's Day. Jessie has re-grooved her catchy rock gem "Bullet" (cowritten with pal Katy Perry) – "Be careful what you wish for/ You get what you see/ Is that a gun in your pocket or are you just happy to see me?" – with a customized theme for the "Dream Ride" campaign. The new track will underscore a wide multimedia spectrum of branding initiatives, surrounding multiple marathons of SPEED's most popular weekly programming, as well as the series premiere of 'Dangerous Drives', a new prime time series debuting Thanksgiving Day. SPEED™ will also highlight a national consumer microsite-driven "Dream Ride" mega-sweepstakes with a chance to win an extraordinary VIP experience at California's historic Laguna Seca Raceway.
In June, Jessie was seen by tens of thousands of Jonas Brothers concert-goers when she was chosen to host six shows on the road, introducing each artist on the bill including support acts Honor Society and Jordin Sparks. Jessie also performed "Wanted" at every show, and met with fans at pre-show meet and greets.
Recorded in Los Angeles, New York and Nashville, the 'Jessie James' album takes off with "Wanted", the full-throttle dance-rock scorcher that Jessie co-wrote with American Idol judge and hit songwriter Kara DioGuardi (along with Mitch Allen and David Hodges). Another track, the sassy "Blue Jeans", all hip-hop swagger and tribal percussion, was first heard in the hit Touchstone film and Hollywood Records soundtrack album of 'Confessions of A Shopaholic'. "Blue Jeans" was featured in last month's premiere episode of Lifetime's Drop Dead Diva. The video for "My Cowboy", a twangy rocker, is scheduled to be filmed in Nashville on August 31st. The song will also promote the upcoming CMA Awards show airing on November 11th ; and will be heard in Sorority Wars, a Lifetime cable TV movie set to air in October.
